I am so passionate about Marketing and the Marketing Suite (formerly known as Unica), which has been my life for too many years to count. I started out as a customer working with the users to deliver first-class campaigns.  Then, I was so convinced of the benefits the software could deliver, I joined Unica to be a Professional Services consultant and help many, many customers understand how to get the greatest value out of the software to ensure they could become a top-grade marketing team. Then, wanting to help shape the future of the software I had been working with for so long, I joined the Product Management team to help be your advocate within the product team and help to deliver exciting new capabilities and solutions.  It is with so much excitement and anticipation of the things to come that I want to say:

Welcome to the new Marketing Suite Community! 
This is a new community managed by HCL to support the Marketing Suite products and user family.  The Marketing Suite of products have been known by a number of names over their nearly 20-year history – e.g., Affinium, Unica, IBM Marketing Software. This is the suite of products that includes the four core offerings of IBM Marketing Software – Campaign, Interact, Optimization and Marketing Operations.

In other posts, we’ll talk about the HCL and IBM partnership around the Marketing Suite and what it means to you; make sure you look for that.

This community is our way to talk to YOU about the product(s) that you are using to engage with your customers and deliver outstanding marketing communications.  This is where we can talk to each other!  Here’s a quick tour of what you’ll find here:

  • From the Home page, you can get information about upcoming events and the latest blogs.
  • In Blogs, you can learn where the product(s) are going, how others are using them to meet critical business objectives, what new features are available in the latest releases and how to use them, tips and techniques for delivering the most seamless conversation with your customers, from planned outbound communications to delivering top quality inbound conversations
  • In Community, you can post questions or comments and hear directly from the HCL Omnix Suite team and other users like you.
  • In Resources, you can find links to documentation, whitepapers, videos, training information, etc.
  • Still, want more?  You can provide feedback directly to the team that is managing this Community via Contacts.
