Email engagement continues to be a crucial component for your business. It’s an integral part of your workday for collaborating and getting things done. HCL Verse recognizes the importance of email and your personal productivity and is thrilled to announce the general availability of HCL Verse 3.0. This release makes it easier to collaborate with co-workers and here are a few of the new capabilities:
Manage Your Contacts, Hassle-Free
A newly designed interface allows you to create, edit and search your contacts in Verse, rather than iNotes, making managing your contacts faster and more intuitive.
Eliminate Double-Booked Meetings
Did you ever wish you could see your coworker’s availability before trying to schedule a meeting? Now you can! Our new Calendar interface means your co-workers, meeting location and resources availability is displayed at-a-glance – creating or updating a meeting has never been faster or easier. Users can also customize their availability in their preferred time zone to let people know when they’re available for meetings.
Don’t Wait to Communicate – Persistent Chat Empowers Users
Use the power of the latest persistent chat features in Sametime from within the Verse UX. This new feature allows you to leave a Sametime chat message for colleagues who are offline or who have marked themselves as “Do Not Disturb” (requires Sametime® version 11.6.2 or higher FP or Sametime version 12 or higher and persistent chat option enabled on Sametime server).
We introduced this popular feature in Notes v12 and received great feedback from the Domino community. Therefore, HCL is bringing this feature to Verse in 3.0. You can now select the mail alias or internet address that you want to use when sending an email. This is particularly useful to those with mail-in databases managed by various users and those with multiple identities in the same company.
