To be honest, I’ve been trying to get to Europe multiple times this year, and like so many others, my plans have been interrupted by border closures and travel restrictions. Not once, not twice, but three times. I am very happy to say that I finally made it vicariously today via the launch of our AppScan on Cloud service in Europe!

The AppScan team is excited to bring our marketleading application security suite to European organizations that prefer to leverage a cloud service with data residency in the region.

AppScan on Cloud is a fullymanaged solution that allows you to get up and running quickly, allowing you to focus on your security risk and vulnerabilities, rather than on deploying software. The suite includes static analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), interactive analysis (IAST), as well as software composition analysis (SCA) – permitting you to use all the tools at your fingertips to detect vulnerabilities and ensure your applications are secure.

Results from all scans are aggregated under an application, enabling you to assess your applications status at a glance.  Dashboards enable you to view your risk and AppSec program at the level of a business unit or a group of related applications.

Integrations for the leading developer IDEs and CICD tools mean you can easily add application security testing with AppScan to your development process and pipeline.

AppScan on Cloud is ISO 27001 certified and hosted in Microsoft Azure in Germany, which has SOC 2 certification.

Visit our new EU datacenter at http://cloud.appscan.com/eu. Look for the “EU” abbreviation that follows the AppScan logo on the upper left-hand corner of the page, which indicates that you’ve reached our EU instance:

Sadly, I may need to wait until next year to visit my family in Sweden – but the great news is that you don’t need to wait at all to get started with HCL AppScan on Cloud!
